He Worked with Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, over thirty years of meritorious and fulfilling cutting edge experience in the energy, oil and gas industry covering the entire value chain but with specialty in Refinery & Petrochemicals sector and Bio Fuels development and deployment. Career has been accentuated with several significant professional achievement and awards within Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers.Successfully rose from plant operating floor, process engineering and project management to breakthrough executive leadership in the oil and gas sector, retiring as the Group Executive Director, Refining and Petrochemicals. Sebastian Oyegun
Graduated with a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in the specialized field of Natural Gas Engineering in 1979 and started his working career as an Engineer with San Diego Gas & Electric Company in San Diego, California. Trained as a pipeline engineer and also a pressure transient analyst, He Joined NNPC as a Gas Engineer in 1983 and worked in Nigeria LNG Limited for 18 years in various capacities in Engineering, Construction, Operations and Sustainable Development. He later returned to NNPC to manage Pipelines & Rights-Of Way. He rose to the position of Executive Director (Operations) of PPMC before retiring in July 2009.He has expertise in the following areas: Gas Conditioning and Processing, Plant HAZOP/HAZID Studies & Process Review; Pipeline Design, Operation and Optimization Studies; Pipeline Emergency Response Management; Pipeline Integrity Management, Pipeline Construction Management; Custody Transfer and Deliverability, Pressure Transient Analysis and Sustainable Development, Crisis Management and Stakeholder Engagement. He is a member of both the American Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Nigerian Society of Engineers.

Stanley I. Lawson
Multi-disciplinary by training with over 35 years post graduation experience in both the Banking and Finance industry and the Oil and gas industry.B.Sc. Geology, M.Sc. Petroleum Geology and MBA Finance. Commenced his career as a Resident Geologist/Drilling Engineer after which he proceeded to the Banking/Finance industry where he spent over 17 years holding several top management positions cutting across Operations, Treasury, Credit and marketing and Risk Management and finally exiting the industry as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of one of the Nigerian Banks. Thereafter, returned to the Oil and gas industry as CFO (GED Finance and Accounts) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) overseeing the Funding, budgeting and cash flow planning of the NNPC in particular and the Oil industry in general. Has interest and expertise in Alternative Funding, Cash Flow Management and the Accounting for Crude and Products flow. He now runs his own consulting firm where he consults on financing for the oil and gas industry.

Attended several international leadership and management courses including amongst others the Program for Executives of the Carnegie Mellon University Pittsburgh; the Program for Executives in the Oil and Gas industry of the COX School of Business, Southern Methodist University Dallas; Program for Corporate Leaders of the Harvard Business School Boston and the High Impact Leadership Executive Program at the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

A member of several boards including: Financial Advisory and Investment Consultants Limited; Elcrest E & P Nig. Ltd; Transcorp Nigeria Ltd; The Central Bank of Nigeria and a member of the Nations Monetary Policy Committee.

Bayo Opadere
Graduated with a BSc in Petroleum Engineering in 1979 and spent all his working career from graduation to february 2010 with Shell in Nigeria, United Kingdom and Brunei Darussalam. He was Chief Petroleum Engineer (Gas), Gas Coordinator and Gas Industries Manager at various times for Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria. He was posted to Shell Brunei in the early 90s where he worked as the anchor person between Brunei Shell (Upstream) and Brunei LNG later looking after all the gas wells supplying BLNG in the company. He was again posted to Shell Gas and Power, United Kingdom where he was the Business Adviser to the predominantly Shell gas businesses in the Southern Cone of South America and later as the lead Business Developer for Shell in the development of West Africa Gas Pipeline Project. For some time, he was the General Manager Downstream Gas in Nigeria during which time he coordinated Shell’s input into the development of the National Gas Master Plan and represented the company at various engagements with senior Government officials and NNPC. He retired as the Managing Director of Shell Nigeria Gas Ltd, a Shell only gas distribution company in Nigeria. He is skilled in gas strategic planning and business development with a proven ability to identify and maximize new opportunities for gas market expansion. He has excellent working knowledge of the gas industry best practices and corporate governance. Has varied experience in policy formulation and implementation.

Labaran Ahmed
He holds a 1983 B.Eng. degree in Chemical Engineering from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria and a 2013 Master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Engineering from the University of Maryland, U.S. He joined the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC ) as a Trainee Chemical Engineer at the WRPC Carbon Black Plant in 1985. Subsequently, he worked for NNPC in various capacities for the next twenty-five years, covering the company’s entire value chain, before retiring in 2010 as Operations Advisor, for the NNPC’s OKLNG project in London, U.K. and Lagos, Nigeria. Currently, he works as an Energy Consultant in Washington DC, specializing in energy efficiency, energy systems management, renewable energy, as well as power generation and distribution. He is a certified Energy Efficiency Practitioner (EEP) and a member of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), Washington DC, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (NSChE).
