Gulf of Guinea Paragon Consulting Limited, “GGPC”’ is an energy consulting company established in 2009 by experienced Nigerian professionals with very strong background and knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry in Nigeria in particular, and the Gulf of Guinea region in general. We offer our clients unique and winning solutions in the areas of Gas utilization, Gas development studies, Gas supply Management, Engineering and Project Management, Environment, Safety and Crisis Management, Value Assurance reviews, Asset Integrity review, Professional Manpower Resourcing, Human Resource Management, and Training, With extensive experience in government service, we also offer consulting on Government and Stakeholder Relations Management.

Ibrahim D. Waziri

Ibrahim D. Waziri holds a B.Sc. in Accounting, an MBA, and completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at Harvard. With an impressive career spanning over 40 years post-graduation, he has garnered extensive experience in banking and business administration. For over two decades, he served in senior and top management roles at NNPC, including Deputy Managing Director at Nigeria LNG Ltd. His career at NNPC culminated in his retirement as Group Executive Director. A Fellow of the Institute of Directors, Ibrahim has served as the Past President of the Nigeria Gas Association. Additionally, he has contributed to the legislative landscape as a former Member of Nigeria’s House of Representatives. Currently, Ibrahim serves on the Boards of several companies, bringing his wealth of expertise to diverse business endeavors.


Onochie A. Anyaoku

Onochie A. Anyaoku, FNSChE, FNSE, F AEng, is a seasoned professional with a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and over 40 years of post-graduation experience, predominantly with NNPC. Throughout his career, he has amassed a wealth of meritorious and cutting-edge experience spanning the entire value chain of the energy, oil, and gas industries. Onochie’s notable career includes significant achievements and awards within NNPC, where he held key positions and retired as Group Executive Director.
His specialties lie in Refinery & Petrochemicals, process engineering, Bio Fuels, and Project Management. Onochie is the proud recipient of the 1990 Pinnacle Holdings Award and has been recognized as Nigeria’s Best Chemical Engineer by the Nigeria Society of Chemical Engineers. He has also contributed to the professional community as a former President of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers.


Stanley I. Lawson

Stanley I. Lawson, holding a B.Sc. in Geology, M.Sc. in Petroleum, and an MBA in Finance, boasts an extensive career spanning over 40 years across the realms of Banking, Finance, and the oil and gas industries. Commencing his professional journey as a Resident Geologist/Drilling Engineer, he transitioned into the Banking and Finance sector, achieving the pinnacle of his career as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of a bank. Later, he made a significant impact in the oil and gas sector, culminating in his retirement from NNPC as a Group Executive Director. Stanley I. Lawson is recognized as a seasoned professional, blending his expertise in both banking and the oil & gas domains.



Bayo Opadere

Bayo Opadere, equipped with a BSc in Petroleum Engineering, brings forth a wealth of experience exceeding 40 years in the industry. His entire professional journey unfolded within Shell, spanning roles in Nigeria, the UK, and Brunei Darussalam. Holding diverse positions such as Chief Petroleum Engineer (Gas), Gas Coordinator/Industries Manager, and Business Adviser, with a focus on Shell’s gas ventures in South America, Bayo Opadere emerged as a lead Business Developer for Shell in the West Africa Gas Pipeline Project. Serving as the General Manager Downstream Gas in Nigeria, he played a pivotal role in coordinating Shell’s involvement in shaping the National Gas Master Plan. Bayo Opadere culminated his distinguished career as the Managing Director of Shell Nigeria Gas Ltd. Renowned for his expertise in gas strategic planning and business development, he possesses an exceptional understanding of gas industry best practices and corporate governance.

Sebastian Oyegun

Sebastian Oyegun, MASPE, MNSE, boasts a distinguished career with a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Natural Gas Engineering earned in 1979. Commencing his professional journey as an Engineer with San Diego Gas & Electrical Company in California, he transitioned to NNPC as a Project Engineer. Sebastian Oyegun culminated his tenure as an Executive Director (Operations) after a dedicated service spanning over fifteen years.
As a Project Management Professional (PMP) with over two decades of experience, Sebastian is a dedicated and results-oriented leader. Proficient in project planning, execution, risk management, stakeholder communication, and team leadership, he holds a proven track record of accomplishing project objectives within defined scope, schedule, and budget constraints. Sebastian is committed to continuous improvement and professional development, holding certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Sebastian Oyegun’s areas of expertise encompass a comprehensive skill set, including Project Planning and Scheduling, Risk Management and Mitigation, Stakeholder Communication and Engagement, Agile and Waterfall Methodologies, Budgeting and Resource Allocation, Team Leadership and Collaboration, Quality Assurance Control/Change Management, as well as Conflict Resolution and Problem-Solving.


Idriss Yusuf

Idriss Yusuf, MNSE, is an accomplished professional with a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU, Zaria). Over his distinguished 35-year career with NNPC, he served diligently in various capacities, culminating in his retirement as a General Manager.
A dedicated and self-motivated professional engineer, Idriss brings a wealth of experience in project management, project financing, renewable energy development, Local Content development, and Operations & maintenance of production installations. His exceptional teamwork skills enable him to adeptly manage challenging situations. Currently engaged in consulting services within the energy and oil and gas industry, Idriss Yusuf continues to contribute his expertise to the field.
